The candidate would be expected to run the projects with some strategic guidance from their manager/peers but have the ability to work independently for the most part. It is very important that the candidate has experience running projects – that could be either for another pharmaceutical company (or similar), a design house or a contractor. They will be leading a multi-departmental team to execute the project, so will need the soft skills to manage people, particularly when they are not direct reports.
